An innovative charging method ensures an optimal process from any state of charge to maximum capacity and trickle charging. The system is designed for ease of use, requiring no manual adjustment of voltage or current, making it accessible even to non-technical users. The battery simply needs to be connected via an adapter to the electronic unit.
Charging and Trickle Charging Process:
- Alternating discharge pulses and measurement phases continuously monitor the cells.
- Once maximum voltage is reached, charging stops for a 12–20 hour resting phase before restarting.
- Oxygen bubbles at the electrodes are dissolved by discharge pulses, preventing crystal formation.
- Maintains cell capacity, prevents increased internal resistance, and avoids overcharging.
Device Description:
- The charging unit (for 1 to 24 cells) is programmed onto a Eurocard and fits into a 19” housing.
- Up to six electronic trays can be installed per housing.
- Battery packs connect via an adapter; charging current is set through bridges in the plug.
- LEDs display the current operating status.
